A wedding that I pretty much put together or decorated in like two hours like I'm, not even kidding you, some friends of mine decided to get married 48 hours before they got married And I think there is just something so romantic about not wanting to wait, people who elope and people who plan weddings in 48 hours or even like plan weddings in a week or something I just think that is so romantic. These friends are actually kind of my mom's friends like they are my mom's age, but at the same time we used to go to the same church together for years and years and I've known them my entire life.
So I was really super stoked when they asked me to help with this wedding. I heard that she was getting married and I was like I have so many ideas. You know I could put this wedding together and then last minute, the day of the wedding. They were like. Can you come to help us decorate? I was like heck yeah I can. I was so excited so anyway, I pulled things from my house because they really didn't have many decorations. They had a white sheet to hang and then they also had burlap from my sister's wedding um. So my mom was bringing the burlap and then they also had the Mr. and Mrs. banner from their nieces or cousins wedding. Something like that. So from my relative's wedding, I guess I'll say they had that banner already so other than that, oh and the hay bills. They had hay bills too. Obviously, this was like a backyard last-minute country wedding.
I ended up spray-painting the star that I had in my house. It was white and then I also spray-painted a love sign that I had, and that is one of the easiest things you can do. If you are planning a wedding last minute, take things from your house, you can decorate with them and if it needs to be a certain color or if you want to add a pop of color spray-paint it's only like three to four dollars to spray-paint. Something and if you want to spray-paint it back so it matches the stuff in your house which, luckily all the things I ended up, spray-painting already matched things in my house. So I just left them that way. But if you want them to match the things in your house again, if you're taking it back into your house, then just spray paint it. The color was like spray paint is so cheap as I said three to four dollars, and it makes the biggest difference. It just adds that pop of color that you need - and so I just that's what I did and I just worked with what I had and it ended up beautiful like it really did not look like it was planned like in 48 hours and really I got Called five hours ahead of time and I decorated in two hours I figured out what I wanted to do. I got all my spray paint and done hung up the sheet and the burlap and the banner and all that kind of stuff, and it took no time at all anyway.
