Backyard patio decorating ideas. The cushions - and I did some quick little touch-ups - you know like spray-painting the chandelier, giving it another coat and just making sure everything was ready and when the gazebo was finally built, it was time to start putting the patio together. I am so grateful for my in-laws. They helped out so much. I started with this area rug. It's an outdoor area rug. I paid just $ 20 for it from Canadian Tire, and then we put all the patio furniture that we have most of this patio furniture is secondhand. The only way to update, of course, is with some brightly colored outdoor fabric and outdoor cushions. I love the way it looks. This really inexpensive patio set is definitely updated, with some beautiful, bright fun, pillows and here on the table. I have a tray with some really functional things on it, but they're also pretty like water and glasses and, of course, citronella candles to keep the bugs away.
These placemats add a pop of color to my table and they're from the Dollar Tree. I also got the little green container and the two topiary balls from the Dollar Tree as well. The red lanterns I've had forever and I picked those up from the bay years ago. All in all, I think it looks so pretty, but you have to have lights. You have to have ambiance, so I added these string lights from Michael's. They were on sale for just seven dollars per strand and I am obsessed with them. I also added, of course, that chandelier that you saw me painted that was a yard sale. Fine. I just restrung it. Of course, you could plug it in and hung it in the center all-in-all, I'm so in love. With this space, I've been waiting. I've been waiting all summer to have a place to sit. I added a few little decor items that I found on clearance at Michaels, actually like this summer, the sign that was only eight dollars and you'll see some other little decor, like the relaxed sign and other things throughout the backyard. Those are all from Michaels.
This little bistro set on the other side of the deck. I found a second hand on like an online swap the pay's years ago, but the best part is this fireplace this outdoor fireplace I found at the curb someone was throwing it out. I couldn't believe it. I gave it a quick coat of spray paint and I love it right beside the pool is where we have this DIY ladder that holds all of our wet towels for the kids, but they're not putting them all over the deck and the deck box here, which We found secondhand again, we found it useful and it's perfect to hold all the pool to like pull toys and goggles and lifejackets and all of that stuff. This was a really fun DIY. We just got a fence post from Home Depot put a cap on it. Put some little legs on the bottom spray-painted, it adds hooks and, of course, dollar tree baskets, it's perfect for all of our flip-flops. When you're coming in and out the back door, everybody has shoes, I even have some extras for guests and we store all of the bug, spray, and sunscreen. Here, I'm loving the patio is functional. It was done on. I really a small budget and it's a perfect place to enjoy this beautiful summer with my family
