I'm gonna talk about how we turned a corner of grass into a cool hangout place for football season and kind of my thought process of how we got it all done. I know I'm gonna spend that during football season and running around you know going to places some and Samantha went to Lowe's. We spent a few hundred bucks on concrete pavers. It's like the 20 by 20 concrete pavers, and then we bought the pea gravel a nice umbrella. We bought one of those fire pits the cheap ones on sale. It's pretty pumped about that one. We had some coolers that somebody had in their yard. Actually, her mother gave them to us, those were free and we bought a three hundred and forty dollars the inflatable hot tub. Just can't wait, put it all together, we got this. I'm gonna go here check out our patio we're opening the box.
This is our hot tub. It's the Coleman Sal! Your spa got it from Walmart. It's going in our football bin yep the same one. We had last time, you'd be so mad. If I could like that Christmas Fox that you just got to keep them unwrapping the bottom, the hot tub itself, it's a lot it's alive pretty soon we're gonna be swimming first time, trying all the new hot tub, the hot just jump in there, the last time we have the hot tub and the water came up to here, cuz, I'm a little short. I got me a booster seat. Alright, guys, you see if she's excited just need the beverage knees up the beverage for football, ornaments Alabama's going right there by the way, and then we've got some lower tier teams that are gonna go over here. So a couple of things that we learned when we had our last hot tub that was needed was a cup holder and a little shelf here.
So when you're in the hot tub and you're having water I'll call separate these just right and you can put your drink there and enjoy the hot tub and it does not get wet when the bubbles start to creep. But for having people over in a house that you don't know you're gonna stay there for a while, you don't want to have to haul a permanent hot tub around these things are heavy this thing when it dies. I cut it up with my knife. I throw it and the garbage can easy to take down. You can store them inside and I mean yeah they might go out, but it's a cheap fun alternative to an expensive one. Get the warranty for. Like a thousand bucks, we had a nice corner spot. That was that, I think, was pretty awesome. Well, it's once we put the Christmas lights up because it's not a fun party place about Christmas lights, but in conclusion, I'm pretty proud of what we did, how we got it all together. It really didn't take that much time. It was really just a matter of whether I wanted to sit on the couch where I wanted to go to Lowe's on a Friday night.
The hot tub is well worth it because what I've learned about the hot tubs is that yeah they're inflatable yeah, like you, know the fluctuating temperature a little bit from 104 to 102, when it's really cold outside they're. Not really meant to you know, brave the elements, but for 340 bucks you got an expendable hot tub that you can put on your back porch and that you can move. If you want to you, don't have to go, get an electrician to hook it up or blah blah blah. Does it use a little more power yeah, but that's just the price of doing business? that's surprised to have an awesome, hot tub on your back porch that you can hang it and have people come over. Hang out, you know, eat some wings watch some football on the patio because the next step of this is we're putting an old TV on the patio one from goodwill or it's just laying around on those old flat screens rock and roll Apple TV on it. And we've got a party train, so that's really the walk-around of the entire patio and our build-out and it's turned into a really cool thing. I'm pretty proud of it. Samantha's proud of it, and we pretty much sit out there every day, whether we have a little piece of wood burning in our fire pit or we just look at the Christmas lights.
